Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is responsible for incarcerating and rehabilitating convicted offenders who have been sentenced to two years or more. Some job positions available with Correctional Service Canada (CSC) are correctional officer, parole officer, rehabilitation program officer, and various positions within the halfway houses. Practicum students and volunteer positions are also available to the public.

Have your fingerprints submitted electronically to the RCMP for security screening

It is required for all employees and individuals, such as practicum students and volunteers, who have access to government information to be fingerprinted for security screening. Fingerprinting for security screening must be completed prior to employment.

1. Two pieces of government issued English IDs (one must include a photo)

What to expect at our office?

1. We will confirm your identity with your IDs

2. Fingerprints will be scanned and submitted to the RCMP

3. RCMP will issue your RCMP certificate directly to the Correctional Service Canada

4. Receipt and DCN number will be available at the end of appointment
