Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) Licensing

Providing a Certified Criminal Record Check (CCRC) to Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA)

A certified criminal record check (CCRC) is required for any brokerage licensing such as real estate broker including property managers, and mortgage brokers. The certified criminal record check cannot be no older than six months and RECA must review and accept your CCRC before you can become licensed.

What to bring to your fingerprinting appointment?

1. Two pieces of government issued English IDs (one must include a photo)

What to expect at our office?

1. We will confirm your identity with your IDs

2. Fingerprints will be scanned and submitted to the RCMP

3. RCMP will issue your RCMP certificate directly to the Real Estate Council of Alberta
