Canadian Criminal Record Check (CCRC) is needed for Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Residency (PR), or visa application, if you have lived in Canada for more than 6 months. A CCRC is a fingerprint-based background check RCMP.
To obtain a CCRC is efficient and easy with the Fingerprint Room Inc. The Fingerprint Room Inc. is an accredited RCMP fingerprinting agency. This means we can digitize your fingerprints and submit them to the RCMP’s Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Server (CCRTIS) immediately.
The process is simple! Once you apply with our agency, you will be required to submit a full set of fingerprints taken and certified by the notary agency where you are residing. We have listed out a few locations visited by our previous applicants, you can check it out on this page:
Once you have taken your fingerprints, we will ask you to send a scanned copy of the fingerprints to our agency to confirm they were done in the correct format. You will also submit two scanned copies of government issued IDs. Acceptable forms of IDs can be a Chinese National Identification Card, a Chinese Passport, or a Chinese Driver’s license. Once confirmed, we will ask you to only mail the original fingerprint form to our Richmond Office in Canada. We will then digitize the fingerprints and submit them to the RCMP’s CCRTIS server.
