A: Global Affairs Canada will not accept status update requests until 20 days have gone past. How do I know when the process is complete?
A: When we process documents for authentication, an email with two tracking numbers will be sent to you. One going to Global Affairs and the other to your preferred mailing address. Once the second tracking number is active, you will know that the Global Affairs has completed the authentication and the package is now in transit to your mailing address.
How long does it take for me to obtain the FBI police report?
A: FBI police report usually takes 7 to 10 business days.
Is there an expiry date on the FBI police report?
A: There is NO expiry date for an FBI report. Instead, there is a time limit on how old the document can be until it is rejected from the requesting party/organization.
