Authentication or otherwise known as legalization, from the Philippines Embassy is often required if you have Canadian documents that will be used in the Philippines.

Any documents that were issued within Canada can be authenticated. Some examples include:

Processing for Authentication with the Consulate of the Philippines

The average processing time is approximately 15-25 business days. The document will first be authenticated by the Global Affairs Canada. Once completed, Global Affairs Canada will ship the documents to the Consulate of the Philippines to have it legalized there. After this step is completed, the Consulate will return the document to us. We will then arrange courier to ship the document back to you. Tracking number will be provided for the shipment.
