A Canadian PCC is a fingerprint-based background check, commonly called a RCMP certified criminal record check.  As an accredited RCMP fingerprinting agency, The Fingerprint Room can digitize your fingerprints and submit them to the RCMP’s Canadian Criminal Real Time Identification Server (CCRTIS-SCICTR) immediately. This PCC can be used for your PR, citizenship and visa applications.

The process is easy: You can apply online. Once you apply, we will ask you to submit a full set of fingerprints taken and certified by the local police or notary agency. If you an applicant living in the UAE, you can obtain fingerprints at the following police precincts in major cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and more.

Once you have taken your fingerprints, we will ask you to send a scanned copy of the fingerprints to confirm they were done in the correct format. You will also submit two scanned copies of government issued IDs. Acceptable forms of IDs can be an Emirates Identification Card, a UAE Passport, or a UAE Driver’s license. Once confirmed, we will ask you to mail the original fingerprint form to our Richmond Office in Canada. We will then digitize the fingerprints and submit them to the RCMP’s CCRTIS server. Once submitted, the RCMP takes, on average, 5-10 business days to accept and create a certificate and mail it out to the mailing address provided.
