PR Application Types and Supporting Documentations

With advancement in transportation, people can travel to destinations worldwide. Being a nation that takes pride in multiculturalism, Canada opened is door to visitors worldwide; many of which look forward to obtaining permanent residency status. Throughout the year, the application process for permanent residence have been adjusted and have been categorized into different entry types.

The different categories of Permanent Residence are placed into two major classes according to their types:

• Economic classes, and
• Non-economic classes

Majority of applicants applying for PR belonging in either of the two classes are requested a RCMP background check based on fingerprints if they have stayed in Canada for more than 6-months. In addition to a Canadian RCMP Criminal Record Check Certificate, others may be requested fingerprint-based background checks from other countries as well, depending on their situation.

The most common entry types that our company receive are:

• Provincial Nominees
• Express Entry
• Members of the family Class
• Spouse or common-law partner Entry

The Fingerprint Room Inc. assists client both locally and internationally by submitting fingerprints to the RCMP for a Canadian Certified Criminal Record Check. We also provide fingerprinting services to clients who are required to submit another country’s background check for their PR application. For RCMP background check certificates, we can have the certificate to the respective IRCC Center upon the client’s request and given the needed information to do so.
