  3. Email us the required documentations:

    1. 2 pieces of valid, government-issued IDs (Canadian and IDs from New Zealand are accepted)

    2. Completed fingerprint form

  4. After our review, mail the original fingerprint form to our office for processing.

  5. Our staff will submit your fingerprints directly to the RCMP for your criminal record check. Processing time is typically 5 to 10 business days.

Where to Take Your Fingerprints in New Zealand?

There are several options for taking fingerprints in New Zealand. Generally, fingerprints can be taken at your local police station, notary office, or any private fingerprinting agency. If you are in Auckland or Hawkes Bay area, you can visit Forensic Insight Ltd. for fingerprinting!

Fingerprints can be taken digitally (commonly via livescan) or with traditional ink-and-roll methods, and both are accepted as long as they meet RCMP requirements. If fingerprints are taken digitally, the prints must be printed on paper. Ideally, fingerprints are captured on the official RCMP C216C form, but local forms used in New Zealand can also be used as long as the format matches. The original, completed hardcopy fingerprint form must be mailed to us in order to process your RCMP criminal record check.
