What You Need to Know
There are several options for taking fingerprints in Australia. Generally, fingerprints can be taken at your local police station*, notary office, or any private fingerprinting agency. Fingerprints can be taken digitally (commonly via livescan) or with traditional ink-and-roll methods, and both are accepted as long as they meet RCMP requirements. Ideally, fingerprints are captured on the official RCMP C216C form, but Australian forms can also be used if the format matches. The original, completed fingerprint form must be mailed to us in order to process your RCMP criminal record check.
*Some police stations/departments in Australia do not allow you to bring home your completed fingerprints. Instead, the police will mail the original fingerprints directly to our office for processing.

Begin your RCMP criminal record check application online.
After you apply, obtain your fingerprints in Australia.
Email us the required documentations:
- 2 pieces of valid, government-issued IDs (Canadian and Australian IDs are accepted)
- Completed fingerprint form
Upon our review, mail the original fingerprint form to our office for processing.
Our staff will submit your fingerprints directly to the RCMP for your criminal record check. Processing time is typically 5 to 10 business days.
Your RCMP criminal record check will come back to our office and we courier it back to you via FedEx or UPS. If you’d like to receive your RCMP criminal record check at a different address, just let us know! Shipping time from Canada to Australia is about 4-5 days.
