If you have lived in or visited Canada for an accumulative period of at least 6 months, you may be requested to submit a Canadian Police Check when applying for immigration, visa, or employment purposes in a different country.

1. Apply with our agency and complete an application form and payment, linked here, for each applicant: RCMP Criminal Background Check Application. After filling out the application form, we will require you to send us a scanned copy of two valid government issued IDs and a completed fingerprint form for each applicant.
2. Have your fingerprints taken. The fingerprints can be taken at your local police station, notary office, or any private fingerprinting agency.
3. Once we confirm that the fingerprints are done in the correct format, we will ask you to mail the original hardcopy to our office in Richmond, BC.
4. Once we receive the original fingerprints, we can begin processing your Canadian Police Check. The RCMP takes on average, 5-10 business days to complete the police check.
5. Once we receive the certificate, we will verify that everything is done correctly and mail it to the mailing address provided on the application form. We use FedEx or UPS courier services. Shipping times usually takes about 4-5 days.
